– Unpack and verify contents
– Install system into a previously assembled server rack (if required)
– Connect system to pre-existing AC power supply or UPS, and neatly dress the cable
– Provide set-up configuration parameters including Host Name, Domain, IP
address & subnet mask
– Volume management and options configuration
– iSCSI installation (include LUN and security setting)
– User permission setup
– Domain installation
– Event forwarding services and monitoring
– Setup Snapshots
– Implement VNIC
– Replicate Setup (if required)
– Remove all packaging materials to a customer-designated area within the
facility
